Michael Adams

Michael Adams is lead editor of investing at Forbes Advisor. He started his career in finance by writing marketing copy for prominent financial newsletters. In this role, he learned the ins and outs of investing and finance as well as both fundamental and technical analysis.

After more than a decade as a copywriter, Michael made the transition to journalism, where he’s covered investing topics as far-ranging as ETFs, cryptocurrency and everything in between for publications such as Kiplinger, U.S. News & World Report and more.

Michael did his undergraduate work in the great books program at St. John’s College. He holds a master’s degree in philosophy from The New School for Social Research as well as an additional master’s degree in Asian classics from St. John’s College.
